Arrive Alive Charity is celebrating another significant milestone, with the voluntary operated response vehicles funded by the charity having now attended an incredible 9,000 999 calls since June 2024.
The milestone demonstrates the important role these vehicles play in supporting emergency response within communities and the impact that continued fundraising for Arrive Alive can have.
Arrive Alive Charity raises funds to provide voluntary operated 999 response vehicles and lifesaving equipment, enabling medically trained volunteers to respond to life-threatening medical emergencies within their communities.
To date, Arrive Alive has funded 18 response vehicles, 42 public access defibrillators and 168 bleed kits.
The Arrive Alive funded vehicles are operated by medically trained volunteers who give their time to respond to 999 emergencies, providing vital support to patients within their local communities.
Reaching 9,000 calls attended in just over two years highlights how frequently these vehicles are being utilised and why continued fundraising is so important.
However, there is still much more to be done. Arrive Alive is currently fundraising for additional voluntary operated 999 response vehicles, and further funds and support are needed to make this possible.

“Although we are incredibly proud of what has been achieved, our work doesn’t stop at 9,000 calls. We want to continue building on this and provide even more lifesaving resources.
“We are currently fundraising for more voluntary operated 999 response vehicles, but we need to raise further funds to make this possible. Every donation and every show of support helps us move closer to funding the next vehicle.”
With 18 response vehicles already funded, Arrive Alive is keen to increase this number and provide further vehicles for medically trained volunteers to use when responding to life-threatening emergencies.
Arrive Alive relies on continued fundraising and donations to make its work possible. As the charity looks towards its next milestone, more funds and more support are needed to help provide additional response vehicles, public access defibrillators and bleed kits.
